Many sites would like to know how many surgeries are being performed by their clinics, and which types of surgeries. The easiest way to do this is using the Costed Clinic module (Click here for help doc) which has the ability to record fully-customisable surgeries as Procedures. These are then trackable using 654 Costed Clinic Detail Listing.
However, not every site has access to or users Costed Clinic so how can they track their surgeries?
The best solution seems to be to set up each type of surgery as a "Reason for Consult" and track them using Vet Consults. (Click here for the help doc).

Once your surgeries are set up as reasons for consult, they can be assigned to Vet Consults as the primary or secondary reasons for consult and then tracked using report 552 Vet Consultation Listing.
