Admin - Animal Received Description Procedure

This process updates the Animal Received field on the Edit Animal Details page.  This field identifies the situation or way in which the animal was received, for example, Tied to front gate, Animal Trap, etc.  Only users with administrative access can process this function.

 

  1. Click on the Administration link in the Orange Menu on the left hand side of the screen.
  2. Click on the Edit Drop Down Lists link.

 

To Add a received description:

 

  1. Locate the Animal Received Description section.
  2. Click on the Add link to add a new received description.  This will generate a popup window.
  3. Description:  enter the received description.
  4. Click Add Animal Received Description.  The popup window will disappear.

 

To Edit a received description:

 

  1. Locate the Animal Received Description section.
  2. Click on the Edit link to edit an existing received description.  This will generate a popup window.
  3. Description:  click on the down arrow to select the description to be altered.
  4. New Description:  enter the new / correct received description.
  5. Click Edit Animal Received Description.  The popup window will disappear.

 

To Delete a received description:

 

  1. Locate the Animal Received Description section.
  2. Click on the Delete link to delete an existing received description.  This will generate a popup window.
  3. Description:  click on the down arrow to select the received description to be deleted.
  4. Click Delete Animal Received Description. 
  5. Click OK.  The popup window will disappear.
