This is a complete list of all statuses available to Shelter Buddy users. 

NB: Shelter Buddy does not add statuses often, nor do they do it lightly, so this list won't change much.

13 Adopted Outgoing Used to indicate that an animal has been adopted. May also be referred to as disposition
146 Adopted - Awaiting Pickup In Care This status is used when an animal has been adopted but remains in the shelter waiting for the owner to pick it up
108 Adopted - Awaiting Spay / Neuter In Care This is used when shelters do not spay/neuter animals prior to adoption. This is a turn on/off feature for a site and if this is turned off, this status will not show.
50 Adopted Altered Outgoing Some shelters adopt animals that are altered and yet others are not altered so they can designate those animals using altered and unaltered.
115 Adopted Offsite Outgoing Marks animals that are adopted during offsite adoption events
52 Adopted Offsite(Altered) Outgoing If you have an offsite adoption process and you do not leave the animals overnight, then you may wish to designate that they were adopted offsite as altered so you can look at statistics.
51 Adopted Offsite(Unaltered) Outgoing If you have an offsite adoption process and you do not leave the animals overnight, then you may wish to designate that they were adopted offsite unaltered so you can look at statistics.
152 Adopted to Finder Outgoing Used to indicate that an animal has been adopted to its finder.
56 Adopted Unaltered Outgoing Some shelters adopt animals that are altered and yet others are not altered so they can designate those animals using altered and unaltered.
37 Adoption Pending / Hold On Property Check In Care Some shelters require property checks before an animal can be adopted. The animal will not appear on the adoption website while on hold.
3 Available For Adoption In Care This status drives the upload for adoption websites. This should be used for animals that are available.
124 Available for Adoption - Awaiting Spay/Neuter In Care This is used to designate those animals that are available for adoption and are awaiting spay/neuter and can be scheduled or pulled for surgery.
92 Available for Adoption - In Foster In Care Some animals may be available for adoption but will remain in foster care due to behavior, medical or other reasons.
149 Available For Adoption - No Web Presence In Care This is the status for animals that are available for adoption but are waiting on info before they will be put on the adoption website
118 Available for Adoption - Offsite In Care This should be used for animals that are only available offsite.
129 Available for Adoption - Waiting Space In Care allow for animals that are available for adoption but not yet available on our adoption floor to NOT be uploaded to an adoption site
85 Awaiting Behavior Completion In Care Some times a behavior assessment is halted for one reason or another. We have this status to let you know that the assessment needs to be completed.
84 Awaiting Behavior Retest In Care When a behavior assessment has been completed but the animal has failed, needs to be on an intervention program or in the case of long term residences, this allows you to say the animal is awaiting retest. However, I prefer to use the date for retest as my flag and allow the animal to be on Hold Intervention, etc in the case of a long term resident.
55 Awaiting Behavioral Assessment In Care May or may not be used depending on how each shelter wants to know the status of an animal.
42 Awaiting Euthanasia In Care My training policy for animals that come in for euthanasia request or animals such as under age litters that even though you know what the final outcome of the animal/s will be the first status should be that of awaiting euthanasia.
79 Awaiting Final Disposition In Care Awaiting final disposition is used by shelters that have animals that do stray time and are found deceased, have died in the shelter during stray hold or if an animal has come in as a DOA and is being cremated. This is an in care status so that if you went to the cold room or freezer the animal should still be there.
8 Awaiting Foster In Care This allows you to say that an animal has been flagged for foster but is awaiting arrival of the foster parent.
73 Awaiting Rescue In Care  
9 Awaiting Sort In Care Some shelters will use as a general status and not use the individual process statuses such as awaiting behavior assessment, awaiting medical check, etc.
114 Awaiting Spay Check In Care In many places, an animal is received altered, however it must be confirmed by a vet that the animal is actually altered. This status allows you to pull a report for all animals that are awaiting a spay/neuter check.
6 Awaiting Spay/Neuter In Care This is used to designate those animals that are awaiting spay/neuter and can be scheduled or pulled for surgery.
130 Awaiting Spay/Neuter - In Foster In Care This is used when an animal is placed in foster care while awaiting spay / neuter
111 Awaiting Surgery - Not Spay/Neuter In Care This is used to designate those animals that are awaiting a surgical procedure other than spay/neuter.
91 Awaiting Transfer In Care This is used for animals that are awaiting transfer to another region within your own organization or to be transferred out to a separate organization.
113 Awaiting Triage In Care Some shelters operate an emergency facility and want to designate those animals when the animal is first put on the system and is waiting to see the vet.
122 Awaiting Triage Completion In Care Animals that completed Triage that only need final tests, eg. FeLV test or spay scar check.
142 Awaiting Vet Approval – In Foster In Care Some animals go to the vet prior to going in to foster.
112 Awaiting Vet Exam / Health Check In Care When an animal comes in, many shelters will do the paper work and the animals will then go to a staging area.
104 Bequest Animal Off Site In Care Animals are often received by a shelter as a part of a legacy or bequest. These animals may be adopted out, some may be held offsite in permanent foster as is this case while others are held on site in a legacy building.
103 Bequest Animal On Site In Care Animals are often received by a shelter as a part of a legacy or bequest. These animals may be adopted out, some may be held onsite in permanent foster as is this case while others are held off site.
44 Bite Quarantine In Care In countries affected by rabies, animals must be monitored for 10 days. If the animal is quarantined on site, this status should be used.
158 Bite Quarantine - In Foster In Care This status is for use in conjunction with the Foster process and immediately indicates that the reason the animal is in foster (i.e. in a home environment) is because it is under Bite Quarantine, thus allowing users to more easily track animals in this situation.
101 Bite Quarantine (Home) Outgoing If the animal is allowed to be quarantined in the home, ie has come into the shelter and is being released to the owner for home quarantine
148 Bite Quarantine/RTO In Care This is the status for animals that are brought in through Bite Quarantine and Returned to the Owner
89 Boarding Client   Used for locations that operate a private or commercial boarding facility
54 Court Hold In Care Animals may be listed as court hold when a case has gone to court. Some places will use protective custody while others will use court hold to say that the matter is now in the courts.
43 Cremated Outgoing We had a request for shelters offering a cremation service to be able to say where in the process the animal is at any given time.
60 Cremation - Communal Outgoing This designates Private or Communal.
59 Cremation - Private Outgoing This designates Private or Communal.
110 Deceased Information This is used by shelters that want to say that an animal is deceased. This animal is not currently in the shelter and is normally used to keep ID tags and Microchip records up to date.
162 Delayed Adoption In Care A "pre-outcome" status used for when an animal's adoption will be finalized at a later date.
163 Delayed Agency Out In Care A "pre-outcome" status used for when an animal's transfer out will be finalized at a later date.
117 Disposition Under Final Review In Care A status for when the animal's dispostion is yet to be deteremined.
61 DOA Outgoing Deceased on Arrival
75 DOA - Final Disposition Outgoing DOA - Final Disposition designates that the animal has left the shelter and is no longer being held.
145 DOA - Released to Owner Outgoing This os for for when an owner comes forward to collect a DOA animal's remains
123 DOA Transfer Outgoing When an animal comes in as DOA, but is transferred to a agency or rescue group.
30 Due For Release In Care Release refers to Wildlife - the animal is due for release back into the wild.
49 Emergency Boarding In Care Emergency Boarding is used by shelters who may board animals for the prisons for owners who are incarcerated, for people who are fleeing from domestic violence or for the homeless, just to name a few.
137 Emergency Boarding Returned To Owner Outgoing This status is used in conjunction with the Emergency Boarding PC. This allows for shelters to distinguish between animals that are surrendered and then returned to their owners as compared to animals that are taken in for emergency boarding and then returned to their owners when either out of hospital, found accommodation etc.
143 Emergency Evacuation - In Foster In Care Emergency evacuation of pets going straight into foster.
77 Emergency Evacuation - Permanent Outgoing In the case of Natural Disaster, animals that were initially transferred out in hopes that the shelters would survive would later be changed to Permanent as these animals were not coming back. We do this separate to the normal transfer out to keep statistics for natural disasters, etc.
76 Emergency Evacuation - Released Outgoing Emergency Evacuation pets that are released back to their owners after the emergency situation has passed
78 Emergency Evacuation - Temporary In Care Initially in an emergency evacuation, most animals will be temporarily transferred to another shelter.
159 Entered Care Information This is the status for found animals that are being brought into care
67 EOA - Euthanized on Arrival Outgoing For humane reasons some animals are euthanized on arrival.
27 Escaped Outgoing This should only be used for animals that you know have escaped from the shelter.
48 Euthanasia - RTO outgoing This designates those animals that were euthanized and the body returned to the owner.
1 Euthanasia / Cremation Request In Care This was used to designate an animal that was requested for euthanasia and cremation.
88 Euthanasia In Field Outgoing Animal Welfare Officers, Animal Control Officers may need to euthanize and animal in the field.
144 Euthanised During Stray Hold Time In Care For pets that are euthanised on humane grounds during its stray hold time
2 Euthanized Outgoing Euthanized is used for those animals who are euthanized in the shelter.
41 Euthanized Adoptable In Care  
86 Euthanized by Offsite Vet Outgoing Euthanized by Offsite Vet allows you to designate the animal as euthanized but when using the drug tracking this allows the system to bypass this outcome and not require the amount of drug to be registered in the drug log.
12 Found In Care This is used to designate animals that are still out in the public that someone has called to say that they have found.
20 Hold In Care This is a general hold.
63 Hold Agency Transfer   This animal is on hold and awaiting agency transfer. This is normally used in Animal Control situations.
53 Hold Euthanasia In Care Hold Euthanasia means hold do not euthanize.
25 Hold Finder In Care This is used by some shelters to say the animal is on hold for the finder having completed stray time.
31 Hold For Possible Match In Care This is an animal in the shelter for which a possible owner has been found. This lets staff know not to proceed without checking it further.
35 Hold In Foster In Care The animal is to be held in foster. This is a general hold for foster animals.
38 Hold In Vet Care In Care This animal is on hold and cannot be adopted etc while being under vet care.
33 Hold Intervention In Care This is used when animals have been available for adoption but are showing behaviors that require additional work and the animal is not available for adoption during this time.
83 Hold Medical/Surgery Recovery In Care Used when animals have had surgery or medical treatment and require time to recover before progressing forward to the next stage in their shelter journey
40 Hold Quarantine In Care Used for quarantine other than bite quarantine.
119 Hospitalised In Care Used to show that the animal is being hospitalised, either by an in house vet, or an external vet.
147 ID Trace In Care This is the status for animals that are held while trying to track ownership or contact ownership.
4 In Foster In Care Used for animals that are offsite and in foster.
45 Information   Information
154 Internal Transfer In In Care Animal has been transferred out of shelter
153 Internal Transfer Out In Care Animal has been transferred out of shelter
46 Interred Outgoing Buried
47 Lost Outgoing This is used when an owner reports an animal as lost.
19 Matched   This is used when a site takes lost and found calls and wants to keep statistics of the number of animals that match from lost and found records. These animals are not in the shelter.
128 Necropsy Outgoing A autopsy was performed to find the cause of death.
21 None   Used by system to indicate no status has been assigned. Indicative of an issue. Not a true status. 
82 Owner Hold In Care Used when the original owner is considering reclaiming the animal
65 Owner Relinquishment In Care When dealing with stray animals sometimes the owner will decide for whatever reason that they do not want to reclaim the animal and will sign the animal over to the shelter. The animal is already in the shelter; you just need to be able to note the handover and have them sign a form.
116 PAT In Care Pet Assisted Therapy
10 Pet D Tect Information Active Lost searching: denotes animals that shelter staff will check the site for daily (Hidden by default)
139 Platinum Pet D Tect Information A more intense search version of status id 10 (Hidden by default)
39 Police Hold In Care This is used for animals that have been brought in by the police and are on hold.
155 Possible Match Information This information only status should be used with files that have the source "Lost" or "Found" to indicate that a tentative match has been made to another file and is a marker to notify other users that a suspected match has been made but not yet finalised.
126 Post-operative Death Outgoing Animals that underwent anesthesia and surgery and died
125 Privately Rehomed - New Owner Unknown   This is used by shelters that want to say that an animal is privately rehomed (I.E New owner unknown). This animal is not currently in the shelter and is normally used to keep ID tags and Microchip records up to date.
140 Protective Custody - Awaiting Foster In Care Normally this will be animals that have been seized or are in protective custody and the animal is available for foster.
107 Protective Custody Hold Quarantine In Care Bite Quarantine that have been brought in by Animal Control, etc that will go to Court
36 Protective Custody In Foster In Care Normally this will be animals that have been seized or are in protective custody and the shelter has put the animals in foster care.
28 Protective Custody/Hold In Care Animals are in protective custody and are on hold.
29 Protective Custody/Transferred Ownership In Care This is to mark when a humane seized animal has legally transferred ownership to the shelter but the court case may still be ongoing. The animal can usually process forward to adoptions from here.
16 Reclaimed Outgoing This is an animal that has been redeemed or reclaimed by the owner. Fees may or may not be applicable.
134 Reclaimed - Awaiting Spay / Neuter In Care For animals that have to be altered before they go home.
100 Redemption (Offsite) Outgoing This animal was redeemed but not through the shelter. This may have been from the truck at the time it was captured.
68 Rehabilitating In Care Some shelters will foster wildlife for rehabilitation and then the animal is returned to the shelter for release.
15 Released Outgoing Deprecated status, use status id 57 instead
156 Released by Agency Outgoing This is for when the agency / council for privacy reasons will not give the owners name but the animal has been given back to the owner
62 Released To Agency Outgoing This is used when an animal is released into the custody fo an agency/shelter 
87 Released to Owner at Vet Outgoing Some animals may require vet treatment as strays and are actually released from the vet. The animal will have been put in the system as a stray or agency incoming animal.
64 Released To Rescue Outgoing Wildlife may be released to a Rescue Group and not to an individual carer. This is an outgoing status as the animal will not be released into the wild by the shelter.
80 Released to Wildlife Rehabilitator Outgoing Wildlife may be released to an individual wildlife rehabilitator. This is an outgoing status as the animal will not be released into the wild by the shelter.
105 Released/Forfeited to Shelter In Care This is used for animals that have been seized, either through the courts or through the animal being surrendered post seizure. It has been released to the shelter for processing.
157 Return to Habitat Outgoing Used to indicate domestic animals that are returned to the area they were found. They are not owned animals. Intended to be used for community cats that have gone through TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return)
93 Returned Home Information Returned home refers to animals that have been taken as lost and found reports and have returned home without your assistance.
32 Returned Protective Custody Animal Outgoing This is an animal that was in Protective Custody and has been returned to the owner.
71 Returned Surrender Outgoing This is an animal that has been surrendered by the owner and then the owner has come back to reclaim the animal for whatever reason.
24 Returned To Owner Outgoing Deprecated status, but some sites still use it. 
131 Sanctuary/Life Resident In Care Animals that are life residents to the shelter.
141 Sanctuary/Life Resident - Upload to Public Site In Care Animals that are life residents to the shelter that are uploaded to the public site.
102 Seized Release Outgoing Humane officer seized animal released back into custody of owner
18 Special Outgoing Deprecated status, use status 13 instead
120 Species Management In Care This is for animals that are held by the shelter for species management
81 Stolen Outgoing This refers to an animal that was in the shelter and has been stolen from the shelter. This does not refer to a report from an owner that the animal has been stolen.
127 Stray - In Foster In Care This is used when an animal is placed in foster care while still in the stray holding period
72 Stray Hold In Care This is often used by organizations that have animal control contracts and designates that the animal is doing stray time.
151 Stray Hold - Awaiting transfer In Care Stray animal that is awaiting transfer to their council / agency.
150 Stray Hold - In Vet Care In Care Stray animal that is injured or sick and is going straight to vet surgery.
11 Temp Lost File In Care Deprecated status, use status id 47 instead.
22 Transfer Out Outgoing This is used to transfer animals out to other agencies or shelter/rescue groups.
161 Transfer Out - Awaiting Pick up In Care This status is used when an animal has been transferred out but remains in the shelter waiting for the group to pick it up.
74 Trial Adoption In Care This is used when the trial adoption facility is used to designate that the animal is not yet adopted, nor is it available to others for adoption.
23 Unassisted Death Outgoing Animals that have died in your shelter and have not been euthanized should have the status of unassisted death.
133 Unassisted Death - In Foster Outgoing To track animals that die in foster.
160 Unassisted Death - In Transit Outgoing Animals that were picked up as alive but have then died during transit to the shelter.
121 Under Behavior Modification In Care Used for an animal that had been assessed, retested etc. but that the temporary "outcome" would be a Behavior-modification program prior to another Retest or behavior completion.
7 Under Vet Care In Care This animal is under vet care but not on hold and can be processed.
14 University In Care Animals that have are temporarily in custody of university
90 Unresolved File Outgoing This is used when the whereabouts of an animal is not known. You cannot say that it escaped or was stolen, but you cannot resolve the file.
58 Wildlife Due For Release In Care Self explanatory
57 Wildlife Released Outgoing This is used for wildlife that have been released back into the wild.
