Sponsorship Questions / Science Diet Adopter Report

Description

This feature was originally designed for Hills Science Diet (hence the report name), but they now use Opt-In. 

This feature allows sites to add custom mandatory questions during adoption. 

Provides details on clients who have adopted an animal from your organisation within a given date range.

System Set Up

Before extracting details for this report, Shelter Buddy must be configured to record customer responses. By enabling this process, users will be prompted to ask the client the required question before proceeding to the receipt. Users then simply need to record the client's response. 

To set up your system, follow the steps below. Note that you will need Administration access.

1. Select the Administration link from the left-hand side menu
2. Find and select the link Question and Form Administration
3. From the menu, find and select the link Adoption Sponsorship
4. Select the link Add Adoption Sponsorship Question
5. Select Dog from the Animal Type drop-down
6. Select Check Boxes from the Question Type drop-down
7. Enter the Question field
8. Leave the Comments field empty.
9. Click the "+" next to Answers to add responses
10. Click Add Question
11. Click Copy Adoption Sponsorship Question
12. Enter Dog in the top drop-down and Cat in the bottom drop-down
13. Details of the question will appear below the drop-downs.
14. Click Copy to copy all questions
15. The system setup is now complete.

Generating the Science Diet Adopter Report (Special format for Hills Science Diet)

1. Select the Reports link from the left-hand side menu
2. Select the link Shelter
3. Search for Science Diet Adopter Report and click View
4. Select the Hills opt-in question from the drop-down
5. Select a response option from the Answer drop-down that appears
6. Enter the date range for the adoption you wish to extract
7. If you would like details for just one Physical Location, select an option from the Region drop-down or leave at All
8. You can multi-select Animal Types by holding the Ctrl key and clicking each relevant option or select none to include all. NOTE: all types will only work if the questions for all types are identical.
9. Click Generate Report

Generating the Adoption Sponsor - Customer Response Report

1. Select the Reports link from the left-hand side menu
2. Select the link Shelter
3. Search for Adoption Sponsor - Customer Response and click View
4. Select the required question from the drop-down
5. Select an Animal Type from the drop-down (e.g. Dog). Note: Shelter Buddy automatically includes baby animal types (e.g., puppy and Kitten) with their adult counterparts (e.g., dog and Cat), so it does not need to be run separately for baby types. 
6. Select Question
7. Use the Select Answer field to choose the required response
8. Enter the date of the adoption range you wish to find
9. Click Generate Report
10. Repeat for Cats
