Admin - Add, Edit, Delete Do Not Adopt Reasons Procedure

This process updates the Do Not Adopt drop down list on the Edit Person Details page.  You require access to the Administration menu to process this function.

  • Click on the Administration link in the Orange Menu on the left hand side of the screen.
  • Click on the Edit Drop Down Lists

To Add a reason:

  • Locate the Do Not Adopt Reason
  • Click on the Add link to add a new reason. This will generate a popup window
  • Reason: enter the reason.
  • Click Add Do Not Adopt Reason. The popup window will disappear.

To Edit a reason:

  • Locate the Do Not Adopt Reason
  • Click on the Edit link to edit an existing reason. This will generate a popup window.
  • Reason: click on the down arrow to select the existing reason to be altered.
  • New Reason: enter the new / correct reason.
  • Click Edit Do Not Adopt Reason. The popup window will disappear.

To Delete a reason:

  • Locate the Do Not Adopt Reason
  • Click on the Delete link to delete an existing reason. This will generate a popup window.
  • Reason: click on the down arrow to select the reason to be deleted.
  • Click Delete Do Not Adopt Reason.
  • Click  OK to confirm. The popup window will disappear.
